Acoustical treatment: where to place bass traps

Dear APA team, I moved into a new place and I want to treat the room (new mixing/production studio) the best I can. Where would be best to place them? Any places ideal for placing acoustical panels?

Also, I have two small windows facing busy street. Any recommendations how to cover it completely? Thank you!

Great question! You should start with windows by covering them with heavy drapes. For doors, you should consider Door Noise Control Covers.

You will notice huge sound improvement by installing bass traps in left and right corners of your room. You should also install acoustic panel right in front of you.
There is some high end reflections that are more apparent, now that the bass and mids are so much more controlled with installed bass traps.
